1. Tear open the sachet and pour the concentrated kaeng som into a pot, add 300 ml water (or a ratio of 3 parts water to 1 part concentrate) and boil over high heat
2. Add vegetables and meat as desired, and simmer over medium heat until the vegetables and meat are cooked
3. Then turn off the heat and serve hot with steamed rice
