The new year is a chance to start new things, and also to improve on the things we already have. Come on... let's adjust how we take care of our health and looks to suit ourselves. Don't think it's too late — no matter when, you can always start, whatever your age, as follows:
1. Detox the Middle Way
Many people set out to detox so intensely that they become too strict about it and can't sustain it. Actually, you don't have to go full clean-eating — just cutting back on fast food and adding more fruits and vegetables to balance each meal is already a good start.
2. Choose the Type of Exercise You Enjoy
If you already enjoy exercising, keep it up! For those who go sometimes and stop (often), it might be because you don't actually like that particular type of exercise. Try other classes — yoga, gym, running outdoors, etc. Try them all so you can find out which type of exercise you really enjoy, and then you'll be able to keep doing it consistently. Even if some methods show results more slowly, that's definitely better than doing it on and off!
3. Basic Self-Care
You don't need to set too many rules for self-care — just roughly plan that each day should include 3 main steps: cleansing, toning the skin, and finally moisturizing to reduce the chance of skin wrinkling. If you can also do a body scrub and a face mask once a week each, that will help build your self-confidence, whether you're a woman or a man.
4. Clear Out the Old Stuff!
Organize your home to be “good for the heart” and good for your health, especially in the clothing and accessories category, or cosmetics, particularly for women. Any items you haven't used in months or years are probably no longer necessary — go ahead and get rid of them. We know it's hard, but you have to let go, and then life will be better; you'll feel an indescribable sense of relief, because not everything stays with us forever 😉 And don't forget to find how to choose a vacuum cleaner to vacuum the corner you just cleared out too.
5. Find a Regular Meditation Activity
When it comes to meditation, many people probably think of sitting still with eyes closed for a long time, right? That's not always necessary. Traveling in nature, hiking mountains, going into the forest, taking a drive, singing — these can also help build focus and calm the mind. The important thing is that during that activity, you should try to avoid using your phone and focus as much as possible on what's around you — that's what works best. Alright, now that you've finished reading, you can get started right away.
